Galerie Pierre-Alain Challier
The gallery
Since 2006, Galerie Pierre-Alain Challier has presented and ensured the continuity of the collections of sculptures, prints, furniture, art objects, rugs, and jewelry by exclusive artists in limited editions from the former Galerie Artcurial, created in 1975, now presented exclusively at 8 rue Debelleyme, in the heart of the Marais.
Each year, the gallery also orchestrates a dozen temporary exhibitions across the four floors of its vast space, as well as in numerous museums and foundations, to showcase the works of Bernar Venet, Nils-Udo, and Parvine Curie, and publishes exhibition catalogues.
The gallery has also established the archives of 50 years of art editions at the Château de Lascours, between Nîmes and Uzès, where each year site-specific commissions are placed with artists for a life-size sculpture park.
The project
The Galerie Pierre-Alain Challier booth will showcase some of the biggest names in 20th-century art history, from Sonia Delaunay to Lynn Chadwick, who have created exclusive limited-edition works for the former Galerie ARTCURIAL since 1975, which Pierre-Alain Challier, its director from 2002 to 2006, has taken over and is continuing with new exclusive editions by artists ranging from Nicola L. to Nils-Udo and Bernar Venet… as well as some previously unseen works by Stefan Balkenhol and Parvine Curie…
