Founded in Paris in 1973 by Robert and Lydie Dutrou, art printers and publishers, the RLD studio has supported artists and authors for over fifty years in their explorations of contemporary printmaking and rare books. Driven by exceptional craftsmanship, a constant taste for experimentation, and an attentive relationship with creators, the studio has established itself as a leading authority in the field of printed arts.

In the early 1980s, the couple acquired an old farmhouse in the heart of a thirty-hectare park: La Métairie Bruyère. Transformed into a site dedicated to creation and book-related trades, this unique location now brings together eight buildings devoted to complementary practices: engraving, lithography, typography, digigraphy, cardboard work, exhibition spaces, and residencies.

The studio also collaborates with galleries, luxury houses, and design firms, for which it produces exceptional prints.

RLD is also a renowned publishing house that, in half a century, has published the works of more than a hundred major contemporary artists, including Miró, Alechinsky, Arman, Chillida, Texier, Segui, Di Rosa, and Speedy Graphito.

Loyal to the RLD studio for over forty years, Pierre Alechinsky presents a new enhanced lithograph with powerful lines in a spectacular 1.4-meter format. Richard Texier's engravings immerse us in a geographical and cosmogonic universe, between cartographic lines and mineral textures. The exhibition also highlights the younger generation with sugar-lift aquatints by the duo Atelier Bingo (Adèle Favreau & Maxime Prou), as well as woodcuts by Julie Safistein created at La Métairie Bruyère. These works are distinguished by the strength of their graphics and the intensity of their hues.
