MEL Publisher

La galerie

MEL Publisher is an art publishing house specialising in contemporary prints, founded by Michel-Édouard Leclerc in 2014. It is committed to promoting artists from contemporary art, urban art and comics, fostering dialogue between creative worlds that have traditionally been kept separate.

Each project is the result of close collaboration between artists, publishers and art studios, in order to create original works using techniques as varied as lithography, screen printing, engraving and photogravure, produced in nearly 15 studios in France and abroad. By bringing together these disciplines and skills and highlighting a rare, centuries-old artisanal know-how, MEL Publisher offers original editions in small print runs that are accessible, while underscoring the richness and diversity of contemporary creation.

"By creating MEL Publisher, I wanted to make the art and artists I love accessible to as many people as possible, and to pass on that little flame that transforms us and turns us into passionate art lovers or collectors." Michel-Édouard Leclerc

Le projet

MEL Publisher, on the occasion of the first edition of Signatures, will bring artistic disciplines into dialogue—contemporary art, comics and urban art. The focus is on the French scene and pays tribute to Francophile American figures such as Art Spiegelman and Frank Miller
MEL Publisher will present new editions by artists François Avril, Ugo Bienvenu, Gaël Davrinche, Hervé Di Rosa and Thomas Lévy-Lasne, produced exclusively for this fair.
