AD GALERIE MONTPELLIER

La galerie

Founded in 1998 by Arnaud Dionnet and David Garcia, AD GALERIE presents, in its 700 m2 exhibition space, a curated selection of works by historical artists of free and narrative figuration (Combas, Di Rosa, Boisrond, Blanchard, Erro, Adami, Klasen, Segui).
We also champion the work of sculptor César, one of the major representatives of New Realism in France, as well as Philippe Pasqua with his expressionist canvases and monumental sculptures.

Concurrently, AD Galerie participates annually in contemporary art fairs and is present at Art Paris, Moderne Art Fair, Lille art Up, and Art Montpellier, where it presents specific exhibition programs.

Le projet

Our booth features two major artists: Hervé Di Rosa and Robert Combas.
Through a selection of multiples, lithographs, and sculptures, we highlight the creative energy and freedom of expression characteristic of the co-founders of the Free Figuration movement.
With three sculptures dedicated to the elements—earth with the car, sea with the boat, and air with the plane—Hervé Di Rosa deploys a playful imagination rooted in a popular vision of the world.
With his plexiglass guitar, Combas creates a hybrid object: between instrument, sculpture, and painting.
Bringing these two artists together underscores a shared desire to break down artistic barriers, offering multiple works that question the notion of the original, while making contemporary creation more accessible.
