Dupré & Dupré Gallery

Contemporary art gallery, opened in 2014 in Béziers, Dupré & Dupré Gallery specializes in the emerging French scene while opening its program to established artists. For 4 years the gallery occupied a space in Paris, it is now itinerant in the South of France, with exhibitions in various venues and exhibition curations. Permanent exhibition at the Hotel la Prison in Béziers and at Château Autignac.
Its aim is to promote and disseminate artists from the French and international contemporary scene by associating cross-perspectives with the local scene
Fabrice Delprat is committed to showcasing a new generation of artists from varied backgrounds who meet his sensibility in figurative or abstract painting, drawing, photography and sculpture. Including this new wave of artists using modest, unconventional or recycled materials, among the most original of the plastic avant-garde.
The program is open and multidisciplinary (painting, drawing, photography, video, installation). The Gallery is recognized for its strong commitment and the passion with which the artists and works are promoted and defended.

With his series "Mickey is also a rat", Nicolas Rubinstein revisits a universal icon by confronting it with its ambivalent nature: both a reassuring and almost unsettling popular figure. In this series, Mickey appears fragmented, divided between flesh and bone. This visual duality creates tension between childhood imagination and a more raw, almost anatomical reality. The artist thus subverts a symbol of global entertainment to reveal a darker dimension, questioning our relationship to images, collective memory and mass culture. Familiar forms are altered, dissected, as if the artist sought to unveil what lies beneath the smooth surface of contemporary mythologies. Works where humor, subversion and plastic tension coexist.
